VIRTUAL REALITY - VR

Hello everyone!
I am very excited for this post's topic! Virtual Reality or VR is a simulated environment that is created by a computer. It's a new, advanced and exciting technology. It basically gives you the opportunity to create your own world or explore other worlds that are already created.
There are some devices we can experience VR with, such as Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR, Oculus GO, Sony Morpheus, HTC Vive, and Google Daydream. They are devices that mostly looks like the picture below.

We can use it in education in many ways, especially as language teachers;

Firstly, using VR, students can easily interact with native speakers.

VR encourages students to work collaboratively and cooperatively.

Students who don!t like to share their faces can create easily create avatars.

Through VR, teachers can prepare tasks for students. Using VR will make homeworks interesting!

VR is also a wearable technology so it gives students the freedom to explore if needed.

It is a slightly expensive technology, however, it's getting more and more common every day.
