EDMODO
Hello everyone. Today I want to talk about Edmodo. Edmodo is a website that can be used by students, teachers, and parents.
As we all know, communication is a valuable tool in every classroom. Edmodo's aim is to provide us that! Let me tell you about how it works;
In Edmodo, first of all, the teacher creates a classroom. Then shares the code that the students need to enter the classroom. When the classroom is created, and everybody joins the class, you are ready to use it. As teachers, we can share announcements, assignments and maybe links to some useful resources.
When we post. Edmodo will send a notification to our students. This way students will not miss any important announcements. Students can use Edmodo to ask questions to both their teacher and their friends. Also, they can use Edmodo to turn in their assignments without wasting any paper. Edmodo will also remind them of the due dates.
If needed/wanted, the teacher can also share the classroom code with parents. This way, parents can keep track of their kids homeworks and important announcements.
Edmodo also has an app that you can easily download to your mobile phone or tablet. I will definitely use Edmodo when I start to teach. I recommend it to you too.
